Jake Thiessen, The Hub’s Executive Chef, worked as a chef in Japan, learned the art of French baking at his family’s bakery, before signing in to become part of this cafe that is owned and supported by local farms. If you’re a bicycle enthusiast, you’ll love this café as it is conveniently located at the “hub” of Lincoln’s bike trails.

Try the vegetarian Hub Skillet for breakfast (pan roasted potatoes, roasted red peppers, caramelized onion, sauteed greens, Shadowbrook feta, scallions). Their Grown Up Grilled Cheese for lunch (muenster cheese, local mushrooms, basil kale pesto, multi-grain bread) is a local favorite, and we also like the Squash Banh Mi (grilled seasonal squash, carrot and daikon pickle, housemade kimchi, sunflower tahini, baguette) and Chicken Bulgogi Tacos (house kimchi cilantro, sriracha aioli, corn tortillas, sunny side up egg).

The Hub is currently open Tuesday through Sunday for breakfast and lunch (7:30am to 2:30pm local time).
