True Food Kitchen is a uniquely inspired restaurant, which in their words is known for their “consciously-sourced seasonal ingredients with super powers!” Their founder, Dr. Andrew Weil, respected integrative physician, designed an anti-inflammatory food pyramid. Serving lunch and dinner seven days a week along with Saturday and Sunday Brunch, this Houston favorite features 100% Black Angus natural beef from 44 farms, makes their own sauces, and even offer gluten-free items from their in-house bakery. They cure their own bacon using sea salt, herbes de Provence and paprika and smoke it over Texas oak and pecan wood. Their chicken is free range, are never fed animal by-products, and contain NO antibiotics, growth stimulants or hormones. In addition, no gas or electricity is used to cook on their custom grill and rotisserie. The flavor is unforgettable. You’re going to love this one.
