This is one restaurant you won’t want to miss. According to the NY Times, “It is the restaurant that brought vegetarian cuisine out from sprout-infested health food stores and established it as a cuisine in America."

Main dishes include Maitake and Nopales Tacos (three tacos with roasted maitake mushrooms, sauteed cactus pads, smoked cheddar, lime cabbage slaw, tomatillo salsa and chipotle salsa and served on corn tortillas), Asparagus Pizza (with whipped lemon ricotta, scallion pesto, fresh mozzarella, arugula, chili flakes, and grana padano), and Spring Vegetable Tagine (with cauliflower, carrots, fava beans, potatoes, and garbanzo beans.
