Annapurna® has become known as the “place for healing” cuisine, and they take a lot of care into their food preparation. Always cooking with 18/10 stainless steel, filtered and purified water, this restaurant prides itself on using the healthiest of ingredients. They don’t use microwaves, but DO use fresh, seasonal ingredients. Their bakery is wheat free, cheese is rennet free, their menu is almost all vegan, unless other noted. They use rice brain oil, which is cholesterol free, trans fat free, non-hydrogenated and NOT GMO. Sample menu items include KITCHARI “The Ultimate Ayurvedic Dish” (their famous tri-doshic kitchari is healing and very easy to digest - a wholesome blend of basmati rice, yellow split mung beans, vegetables, greens and the perfect blend of spices. Balance your individual doshas by adding ONE of the following: fresh ginger, cilantro, limes, coconut); Lebanese Wrap (fresh eggplant richly marinated in balsamic dressing and grilled to perfection alongside freshly made hummus, crisp lettuce, tomatoes, and lightly drizzled with house herb balsamic dressing, all come together in a large house made chapati or dosa with a choice of house salad, masala fries or cup of soup).

Campo at Los Poblanos is set among 25 acres of lavender fields, enormous cottonwood trees and lush formal gardens, and is arguably one of the most magnificent historic properties in the Southwest. Reservations are highly recommended.

Menu items include FARM VEGETABLE WRAP (shaved summer vegetables, white bean purée, herbed yogurt and lemon dressing on a grilled Sonora wheat flatbread served with side of herb quinoa salad); CHILAQUILES (corn tortillas, red chile, Tucumcari jack and cheddar, onion, crispy potatoes with Herbs de Poblanos, eggs any style and choice of meat); FIELD SALAD (pistachio, Aries cheese, pickled beets and onions, Monticello Balsamico); Under the Shepherd’s Lamb label, the Manzanares family raises the only certified-organic lamb in the state and is among only a few farmers in the country that graze their lamb on wild land -- BRAISED LAMB BIRRIA (roasted seasonal vegetables, blue corn hominy, house-made Sonora wheat tortilla); and much more.
