Lifebar Café (2 locations)

3046 Bardstown Road

3738 Lexington Road
Louisville, Kentucky 40207

Behind many great and healthy restaurants is a founder who experienced first-hand the benefits of eating healthy to overcome health challenges. The result? A transformative lifestyle café that delivers fresh, authentic, organic, healing ingredients in all their menu items. Check them out HERE!

Queen of Sheba Restaurant

2804 Taylorsville Road
Louisville, Kentucky 40205

Call ahead or check their website for dining hours. As of this posting, Queen of Sheba is open Monday- Sunday: 5 PM - 10 PM and is closed for lunch (but will reopen for lunch as soon as they have full staff again).

All entrées are served with Injera (Ethiopian flat bread made from Teff - a unique Ethiopian cereal grain, wheat and corn flours) and can be served with rice instead of Injera. Traditionally, Ethiopian food is eaten with your fingers by simply tearing off a piece of the injera, and scooping your food with it, but forks are available on request.

Enjoy Sauteed Tip Dishes like Sheba Tips (choice of beef, chicken, or lamb sauteed with onions, green peppers, garlic, and Ethiopian spices); Queen’s Specialties like Bozena Shiro (chickpeas flour cooked with minced onions and spices tossed in a choice of beef, chicken, or lamb); or vegetarian dishes like Fossolia (green beans, carrots, onions, and Ethiopian spices cooked in light tomato sauce).
